After months of rumor and speculation, Vanity Fair has now revealed the identity of Game of Thrones‘ Gwendoline Christie in December’s Star Wars, Episode VII: The Force Awakens.
As part of a photo shoot by celebrated photographer Annie Lebowitz, Christie is now revealed as the chromed Stormtrooper we now know of as Captain Phasma. Vanity Fair confirms that Phasma is indeed part of the reconstituted Empire, known now as the First Order.
