New Aerial Photos of Galaxy’s Edge

Galaxy’s Edge is only a few months away from opening in Anaheim and Orlando Disney Parks later this year. Details about the ridesMillenium Falcon: Smugglers Run and Rise of the Resistance, were revealed in late 2018 along with a behind the scenes featurette. The announcement gave us a great look at the park’s construction and it’s concept art, but thanks to Bioreconstruct, we’ve got a more recent a look at how it’s coming together.

The images below include Foundary Entrance and Bazaar Entrance, the Millenium Falcon, and side-by-side comparisons of concept models to the actual buildings:

Here are a few pictures I personally took at Disneyland back in October of 2017, showing some construction and one of the entrances:

I was lukewarm on the idea of a Star Wars theme park when it was first announced as I didn’t grasp the full scope of the project. But as we get closer to it’s opening, I get more and more excited to learn about this location from the various tie in media announced earlier this year as well as images like this.

Thanks again to Bioreconstruct for sharing these images. All the photos were obtained legally and taken from public space.
