Season Three

Episode 7: “Assassin”
Synopsis: Ahsoka has a vision that a supposedly dead bounty hunter is going to kill Padme. Ahsoka must learn how to deal with the more mystical sides of Jedi life while handling this mission on her own.

Rating: ANH. This is a very necessary episode in Ahsoka’s character development. Rather than play her as unstoppable, this episode shows her struggling with very complicated Jedi issues. It’s also interesting to see how the Jedi work on a more spiritual level.

Episodes 8-9: “Evil Plans” “Hunt for Ziro”
Synopsis: In the first episode C-3PO and R2 are on a simple grocery run when they get caught up in a conspiracy to infiltrate the Senate. There’s intrigue, droid spas, and Cad Bane! In the second episode Obi-Wan and Quinlan Vos track down the missing Hutt on Nal Hutta.

Rating: RotJ. These are episodes you’ll love or hate. They’re fun adventures if you don’t take them seriously. The first episode is classic times with the droid duo and you never know what Cad Bane is going to do. In the second episode, we get to see some awesome stuff with the Hutt clan, but there’s a love story that’ll leave you… confused. I personally love these episodes. But I won’t lie, they get a lot of flack.

Flow Walker Warning: “Evil Plans” is a direct prequel to “Hostage Crisis” in season 1 and “Hunt for Ziro” is a direct sequel.

Episodes 10-11: “Heroes on Both Sides” “Pursuit of Peace”
Synopsis: The Republic Senate is worried because war costs money. In the first episode Padme takes Ahsoka to talk to her long time Separatist Senator friend. Meanwhile, the Seps are planning a sneak attack on Coruscant. In the wake of the events of the first episode, Padme leads a campaign for…. Senate reform! And then there’s lots of… Senate stuff.

Rating: AotC: The first episode is slow-paced at first but the ending has some action. Speaking of action, Ahsoka finds a potential future boyfriend (which, like, come on, who doesn’t want to watch that?). Still, we get to see Space Julie Andrews speak at the Separatist Parliament, which is nifty. The second episode is, well, Senatey. It’s, well, honestly I forgot this episode even existed before I wrote this article. In writing my second draft, I can’t remember what happened.

Flow Walker Warning: The final Flow Walker to be exact. These two episodes take place directly before the Season 2 episode “Senate Murders” (which explains how a certain Senator is still alive). “Senate Murders” and these season 3 episodes are the first episodes after a 1-2 year time jump. You’ll get to see new character models for Anakin and Ahsoka. After this point all episodes will be in chronological order.
